Closing Ceremony of Two Projects and Introduction of a New Project – Islamic Relief Worldwide-Iraq
On Thursday, a networking and final ceremony was held attended by Mrs. Nuksha Naseeh, Governor of Halabja, Mr. Zahid Hussain Jalbani, Country Director of the Islamic Relief Worldwide-Iraq, as well as representatives from the General Directorate of Agriculture of Halabja and the Directorate of Social Welfare and Development.



The ceremony marked the closing of two two-year strategic projects of the organization. It was organized in coordination with Halabja Province, the Halabja General Directorate of Agriculture, and the Social Welfare and Development Directorate.
The first project, Improving Economic Growth and Welfare for Young University Graduates, included 237 participants and focused on three main themes: job creation, vocational training courses, and expansion of small and medium enterprises.



The second project, Strengthening the Capacity to Develop Sustainable Agricultural Production, supported 80 farmers in the province through training courses, material support of about 10 million Iraqi dinars, and provision of solar energy systems and advanced irrigation systems. The total number of beneficiaries from both projects was approximately 317 participants. During the ceremony, the organization also presented its future plan and officially announced the new project for 2026, which aims to continue services and further development in Halabja Province.
